ANSWER KEY:

(1) Black Popsicle

Like I said, I just type in the first words that pop into my head. You’re the one with the dirty mind.

(2) Shiver Me Timbers

(3) Time To Make The Donuts:

Classic line, pre starbucks, when Dunkin dominated the land.

(4) Where’s the beef?

Another classic tv line for folks born before 1980. They played this commercial nonstop between episodes of Silver Spoons, Facts of Life, and Different Strokes.

(5) Lend Me a Quarter

… So I can call a cleaning service and get this place cleaned up… and maybe buy an actual stand for my television… and another stand for my VCR so I don’t have to tape it to the tv.

Videos I Promised 9 months ago

I wrote about seeing Tool the band months ago. Months. It was my 10 post on this blog. Awesome show. I posted pictures and promised that I would put embed some video that I had captured from my Treo. The problem is that Treos are the biggest pieces of crap ever are tough to work with and require a bit of patience and technical savvy. Being that I was born with 50% of the formula (tech savvy) needed to get the video up, it took some time… so here they are in no particular order.

End of Show. Lighters.

This is the part of the concert where they lit the stage on fire.

With monitor resolutions that have been a step ahead of tv technology for like 15 years and consumer bandwidth increases that happen often the future is here. I tripped into this site onto one of their flash video pages and was like WOW… i can’t believe this is showing up on my laptop screen — no hitches and in awesome resolution.

A little Wis.dm goes a long Way

I’ve come across another website that managed to take precious hours away from the end of my life. It’s called wis.dm and the concept is pretty simple. It’s a website where you pose and answer yes or no questions.  Based on some general website rankings, I don’t think the site has been around that long but it looks like their community is growing fast.  The general look of the site is simple which is nice.  Here’s a snapshot of how wis.dm  works…..

Out of the 4 questions shown, I’ve answered 3, with 2 yesses (green) and one no (red)…

I signed up after about 3 minutes of poking around and made some questions of my own:

mywisdm.jpg

As you can see I 1) didn’t wait to get personal with my questions 2) Have 14 people who already responded to a question I asked a 1/2 hr ago (of those 14 people only 2 people lied and said they never urinated in the shower. Dirty Liars.

Sites like wis.dm/myspace/youtube etc really amaze me. The hardest part about building a communities like these is building the layout of the site so that it’s fast and easy to use. Then whoever built it can just walk away and let the sucker blossom on it’s own because, in the end, it’s losers like me who spend all day providing all of the content and activity for the site.
